Located in the lush green region of Koti village of Junga sub-tehsil, Govt. Degree College Chail-Koti came into existence on 1st June 2014 as a co-educational institution. Surrounded by the towering deodar trees, apple orchards and variety of wild flowers, the college campus invariably exhibits the different hues of beauty and makes an environment for concentrated learning. Beginning with 39 students, the college initially offered Arts stream with English, Hindi, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, History, Mathematics and Physical Education. Education plays an important role in the life of an individual. It is a process of acquiring knowledge and skills, building morals, values and develop good habits. As we step into new academic year, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to this college. College helps the students convert their dreams into reality. Hard work and dedication are the two important traits that lead to success.

This college was started in 2014, and this year it has completed its journey of 10 years. From the current academic session, we will shift to the new college building surrounded by lush green forest. The college is equipped with all facilities like smart classrooms, digital library, and open theatre for cultural activities and a specious ground for sports activities.
